I had planned on waiting until I got all of the outfits before doing a feature but there are just SO. MANY. OUTFITS. That I wanted to do smaller sections as to not overwhelm my two viewers with adorableness. For those unfamiliar, Project Diva is a series of Rhythm Games staring the not-real-person, Hatsune Miko, as well as a few other idols. This particular game I am playing is Future Tone. I will only be focusing on the female idols' outfits in this series because boys are icky. I tried to find flattering videos and hairstyles to go with the outfits but of course YMMV. Also, kudos to Project Diva for the insane amount of clothing options available. At the end of this series, I plan on doing a top 10 of my favourites. Let's Get Started! We begin with an ode to Space Channel 5. I picked her cheerleader buns because it fits the playful style and the colours match well. This one is not one of my favourites but it goes well with the autumnal colours. It's also got a bit of mischief to it, having little wings and a tail. Might fit well with Halloween. Sticking with a similar colour scheme, I absolutely adore this one. It's so goofy and playful. The stockings and shoes are A+. Moving away from Hatsune Miku for a second (and in to the same field of flowers), we have Kagamine Rin in a nice, pure white dress. I love the little pigtails with it. After Autumn comes winter and here we have MEIKO in a gorgeous red dress that helps her stand out amongst all of the white and yellow in the background. Winter also means Christmas for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, so here's Kagamine Rin in an adorable Santa outfit in gingerbread town. If Spring is more your thing, then here is a gorgeous Spring dress. I absolutely love it. The shoes are great, the shape is great, the colours are great, and I love the pink butterfly on her back. For Summer, we have this cute cheerleader/tennis outfit. I gave it a nice hairbun. I like the lively look it has to it. Let's move away from seasons and in to space because why not, that's a good transition. This one is pretty minimalistic (and kind of revealing) but I think it suits the scene well. This is a very sweet outfit with nice colours. I picked that hair to go with it because I think the colours and style suit it well. The hairpiece also seems to match the sheer material of the top. The hair actually goes with the next outfit I'll show you. The hair goes with this wedding dress-esq outfit which is gorgeous. And yes, I realize these pics don't show off the dress super well, but they're very pretty pictures so I made an executive decision. Admit it, those are some pretty pictures. Coming back down to Earth now, I made a sort of rocker outfit for this concert. I think the hair really goes well with the outfit and compliments the silhouette. I did a more feminine looking rock outfit here. I took a girly dress with an incredibly girly hairdo (heart pigtails) and added the more blunt, straight, black haircut to edge it out a little. Speaking of concerts, here is Megurine Luka in a cute blue dress with a cute haircut. She actually has some of my favourite looks in the game. Here's another example of her on-point hairstyle with a more casual outfit. Those hair curls are amazing and I am envious. While on the subject of casual outfits, here is Hatsune Miku in a more casual-chic cool weather outfit. (I am nailing these transitions.) Here, have some rainbows. But we aren't here to look at casual outfits. We're also here to look at extravagant costumes that fit better in the fictional world. How about an adorably pigtailed flight attendant with a super cute stripey dress? Maybe you prefer a nurse with great blue curls and pretty purple stockings? We also have Kagamine Rin here with a more Japanese Traditional look and gorgeous hair. And also as a robot girl because let's get meta here. And finally, we have this exquisite blue and white dress with the great blue heels. I hope you have enjoyed this first part and stay tuned for more diva goodness coming soon!
